The triangular shape of Mount Fuji

Jutting out of the hanging clouds

Its conical shape and beauty

Is a beautiful sight to behold

The mysterious mount Fuji

Is sacred to Japan

It’s one of their national symbols

And the pride of their land

To see the changing colours of the seasons witnessed there on

Its magnificent shape and splendour

So majestic and awfully grand

The snow capped peak during winter

And the crispness of its fresh air in spring

The sun glistening off its sides in summer

And the vast blanket of colours in autumn

The captivating beauty witnessed during each season is simply legendary

Oh what constancy and strength it personifies

Mount Fuju represents the continuance of ancestry

It symbolizes purity, perseverance and eternity

And so much has been written about it in history

My words don’t do you homage

You’re illustrious and simply legendary

And there you’ll stand for thousands of years forever dignified and grand

Our hearts join in unfeigned tribute to the indomitable mount Fuji san
