Sometimes love is like a whisper

Like a sweet gentle kiss from the autumn breeze

Sometimes like irredescent raindrops

falling tenderly on the mushy grass and leaves

Sometimes it's like the roar of a lion

Like the sound of a thousand beating of wings

Sometimes it is sweet, moist and fragrant

Like an homemade pumpkin pie and such things

Sometimes it's loud and virulent

like a man's advances that has been shunned

Sometimes it sputters and burns like a yellowing candle

Mirror ing the nuances of unrequited love

But LOVE is

And that's all there is

And neither you nor I could live without it
