Welcome Back to Love

I'm giving myself some grace

I'm giving myself care

I'm giving myself some self-respect

Giving myself more love

I'm exiting this matrix

And I'm returning to me

I am pressing the reset button

And returning to the love inside me

The authentic me

Not the me society or who others want me to be

But me, the true me

The one I've ignored for too long

So I seek my forgiveness

And I apologise to me

I crave my understanding

And I'm making my peace

Filling my void with spirituality

Finding happiness internally

Because what I seek is already within me

If only I’d taken the time before to look and listen

But I was afraid

Afraid of what

Everything, everything I'd find lurking behind the shadows of my mind

And the things I'll not find

But I have to

I have to go there

I'm no more afraid

I have the courage to seek go deep

No more running away from me

I'll be honest with myself

Grow more in self acceptance and self love

So, I'll give myself flowers

And plant my own garden

And water my own soul

I'll take good care of me

No more putting things away on a shelf

For the right time or rainy day

The right moment is now

And the fruits that I'll bear will be better this time

Truth will be myself defense

Hope illuminates in the process of transcendence

It's been a prolonged struggle me against me

Endless battles with self

But I'm coming back home

I'm returning to truth

I am returning to ME
